CHASE + MELLO is a glimpse into the life of underground teenage artists in Detroit. It is the story of Mello, a troubled saxophonist who finds peace only in his music and his muse, Chase, a charismatic young rebel who dreams of escaping the confines of her affluent family to become a dancer. These two social misfits team together to create a fantasy world of their own within Detroit's world famous urban ruins. Chase + Mello is the much anticpated short film from Director Ryan Myers. Recently featured in the Detroit News, Chase + Mello premiered at the Detroit Women of Color International Film Festival on July 26th, 2009 to rave reviews.
